Wedding Season Is Upon Us, Get Organised Now

It's that time of year when newly engaged couples start to plan their wedding. Having so much to do for the big day is a daunting task in itself. Once you've set a date the next task on your list is to find a venue. This should be an exciting part of the wedding preparations but can be overwhelming. There are so many ideas floating around in your head, you're beginning to get a headache just thinking about it. I remember this part being a challenge for my own wedding. So much so that we decided to elope to Gretna Green. if anybody wanted to see us get married they had to make the arrangements to get there. Problem solved.

Next on your list is the catering and the band. If you have a musical friend it would be a good idea to ask them to play at your wedding. This not only saves money, but your friend will know what type of music you like. Having a guitar playing friend is a bonus because it keeps the music flowing throughout the day and can easily be adapted from daytime to evening. And a great gift for your guitar friend (who's now playing at your wedding) would be a quality guitar strap with the Musicians Friend Logo. They'll love you forever.

Now that the venue, catering and music are all sorted your next job is the invitations. Making your own wedding invitations can be so easy nowadays with the latest software or even designing your own and getting a company to print them for you at a low cost. Whatever way you decide to make them, adding your own style to them makes them more personal to you both.

Now all you have to do is sort out the photographer (Which can also be a friend) and what to wear for the day while focusing on looking amazing. Oh and having the cash to pay for it, unless you're really organised and have been saving. However you get there, just remember to enjoy the day. Good luck.
