Ageing Too Fast? Learn To Turn Back The Hands of Time

Are you worried about signs of age? You might only be thirty, and you may already be starting to see the lines of time begin to spread across your face. This can be unsettling and even quite upsetting. No one wants to look old while they are still young. Thankfully, there are easy ways to reverse the signs of age and get back to a look that you were comfortable with. Here are some steps that you should take.

Sleep Right, Sleep Well

One of the most prominent signs of age will start to appear on your skin. We’re talking about wrinkles, blemishes, and spots. What you may not realise is that these signs will develop earlier for people who sleep on their face. If you fall asleep on your side with your face squashed onto a pillow, you’re putting pressure on your skin. It will bounce back when you’re young, but as you start to get older it will stick and lose its elasticity. To avoid this, try to sleep on your back. It can take a little while to get used to this sleeping position, but it’s better for you. You’ll wake up, and your skin will look and feel younger. Also, you should make sure that you are getting the right amount of sleep. Again, staying up all night without any signs is something you can only do in your teens and twenties.

Issues That Age You Faster

There are certain issues that will make you age faster than other people. One is related to body shape. You shouldn’t shy away from your natural size, whatever that may be. If your body is not built to be skinny losing a lot of weight will result in you ageing far more quickly. Or, if you put on a lot of weight in a short period you may develop stretch marks. You should try to keep your natural weight throughout your life, whatever that may be. Be aware that bad habits like smoking will also cause the signs of age to set in faster. There is nothing that makes people look older than the lines around the mouth from smoking.

People who had acne when they were younger may also think they look older than other people. Usually, this is because acne scars are mistaken for wrinkles or blemishes. Acne scars can be diminished with an acne scar treatment cream. Something like this can help make you look younger than you are.

Eat Right

Your diet affects your body skin and even your hormones. Is has an impact on everything that determines how old you look. If you want to stay younger for longer, we suggest that you dine more on Asian cuisine. Focus on putting more fish in your diet, and you will certainly be pleased with the results. Your skin will look younger, and your body may even feel more energetic.

That’s an important point to note. You can try all these tips, and we’re sure you’ll start to look younger. But remember, really, you’re only as young as you feel.

  1. I'm 25 in January and my skin is still pretty good no wrinkles yet! I grew up watching my mum have an amazing skin care routine and she has amazing skin, I definitely need to sleep better and get the right amount of sleep too!
