How You Can Finally Feel Good About Your Body


Are you sick of feeling despair when you look at your body? This is something that many people feel. Both men and women can feel bad about their bodies. Both slim and curvy women can feel bad about their bodies. Even children are beginning to feel bad about their bodies, all thanks to the things we see on the TV and in other media. Creating a good relationship with your body is the only way to truly love yourself and take the steps to become healthy.

Here are some ideas that will help you;

Do Some Mirror Work

Mirror work is a brilliant way to change the way you feel about yourself. However, you need to be prepared to bring up old emotions and work through them. Look in the mirror, look into your eyes, and tell yourself nice things. Say you love yourself. List the things you like about yourself. Say something inspirational. Take 5-10 minutes each day to do this. You might feel silly at first, but it’s the first step to changing your relationship with yourself.

Focus On The Things You Like

Focus on the things about yourself you like. Even if you can only think of small things, such as your eyes, ears, or your smile. Focus on them. It doesn’t have to be about your weight or shape. The more you focus on the things you like, the better you’ll feel.

Work Out Where Your Issues Come From

Working out where your issues with your body come from could help you to change the way you feel. They could have started when you were a small child. They could have started when somebody made a comment to you that you took in either consciously or subconsciously. You can work this out by trying techniques such as EFT or speaking with a therapist. This can be another way of bringing up old emotions, but that’s the only way you can work through them and feel better!

Change Your Thoughts/Language

If you’re the kind of person who looks in the mirror and says how ugly you are, or thinks bad thoughts about yourself all the time, stop! If you make jokes about yourself to other people, or talk about how fat you are, stop! The things we think and our language actually have a lot of power. More than you realise. Change these to more positive statements when you notice them coming up. It can take some practice, but you might just change your life.

Treat Yourself To A Beauty Treatment

Treat yourself to a beauty treatment, such as a massage or liposculpture. Choose the right treatment for you, just because you deserve it!

Learn About Fitness And Nutrition

Learning about fitness and nutrition can help you get your body in amazing shape, help you to feel fantastic, and improve your life to no end. You should find all areas of your life improve when you focus on things like this!
