Have you had to think about your mobility

Since falling fowl to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia I find it hard to comprehend that I always need to think about my mobility wherever I go.

In the beginning it was as easy as making sure there were seats in the high street to have a break from walking through the shops.

Now I find it so difficult that I'm now wondering whether I need to start looking into getting walking sticks or even a mobility scooter for going out.

The thought of having to use these make me feel like an old woman, I know plenty of young people use these to get around, but it's obviously the feelings you must go through to complete the transition into your new life of not being able to do the things you used to.

So I'm still undecided as to keep on suffering with my mobility and give in to the pain and fatigue and use the aids that could help me get through what would be a more difficult time.
